He started getting more positive and lead roles in movie like Yagnam (2004) and Ranam (2006) which did well.Okkadunnadu (2007) revolved around real estate and the mafia. Lakshyam (2007) was another major hit for him. The movie also starred Anushka and Jagatpati Babu. In Sauryam (2008) he played a brother looking for his sister whom he abandoned years earlier. This role again garnered a positive response from the audience.
