Sania Mirza, the tennis player, is rumored to be engaged or marrying Sohrab Mirza. Mr Mirza is a businessman based in Hyderabad. A source said that Mirza and Mirza families have known one another for a long time and the marriage was discussed before. However, different sources have mentioned different reports on the marriage. One source said Sohrab Mirza will study while Sania remains playing tennis until he graduates from his MBA. Another source said the Mirza couple will get married very soon, on July 10, 2009.

Two days before tennis star Sania Mirza’s engagement, a youth who claims to be in love with her was arrested Wednesday for allegedly creating nuisance at her residence.
Police said Mohammed Ashraf, 28, late Tuesday created a scene at the player’s residence claiming that he is in love with Sania.
